The Society was formed to provide a forum for those interested in the buses of Eastbourne and surrounding areas. In 1998 the name was changed to
recognize the widening interests of the Society. BUSTOPICS is our monthly magazine which is mailed to all members.
The Society also has members in Continental Europe and North America.
Eastbourne was the world's first municipal operator of motor omnibus in 1903 and still provides a service to the residents and visitors to this south coast resort.
The Society meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8 p.m. at The Red Lion, Lion Hill, Stone Cross, East Sussex.
